While the subject of my masters degree is in Traditional Chinese Medicine
this includes a - Masters Within A Masters.
More that 800 hours are spent studying Western Medicine subjects
such as Phamacology, Pathology, Anatomy and Physiology,
Neurology and Orthopedics among others.
This Prepares People in this profession
to be an integral part of todays modern health care system.
Below is an over view of my studies in this area.

I received a Masters degree
in Traditional Chinese Medicine,
which includes course-work and clinical
training in acumoxatherapy
(acupuncture, moxibustion and accessory
techniques, i.e., Cupping, Guasha, etc.),
Chinese herbology, TCM Diet
therapy, Tui Na (Chinese bodywork),
Tai Qi & Qì Gong (moving and
breathing exercises),
and meditation (health enhancing relaxation and
visualization).
This program has led me to licensure, Nationwide, in
acupuncture and Chinese herbology &
in the State of California as a
Primary Care Physician.

I studied such subjects as Chinese Herbal Formulas and Internal medicine
and advanced needling techniques under some very renown teachers
and
deepened my study of orthopedic and neurological testing, assessment and
treatment.
Additionally, I expanded my bodywork skills here to
include
Shiatsu, Thai massage and Circulatory massage.

Here, as I started the
pursuit of a Masters degree
in Oriental Medicine (OM is also referred to as
TCM),
I expanded my bodywork skills to include the Chinese bodywork
system of Tui Na.
With this, I learned to treat people from pediatrics to
geriatrics
and conditions from the common cold and digestive disorder to
sports and orthopedic injuries conditions.
